Chicago Muralist Collaborates With The Hinsdale Fire Department For A Stunning New Display

Last week, Chicago muralist Rawooh completed a new collaboration with the Hinsdale Fire Department. Located in the building's fitness center, this remembrance of those who've passed away in the line duty is privately on display for both the fire and police departments. A highly detailed firefighter, American flag and badge were created from spray paint, adding to the artist's ever-expanding mural portfolio throughout the Chicagoland area.

Rawooh became widely recognized in 2019 for his a piece titled "Kind of Blue”, a massive street art creation in Pilsen, Chicago. This is one of the largest works in the city limits created by a native Chicagoan.

The artist is now preparing for his 5th collaboration with Sofitel Chicago: a multi-story mural with a vibrant French theme, painted over skyscraper glass. The project is scheduled to be completed by June 1st.  Rawooh can be seen in creative action in front of the boutique hotel just days prior.
